EL PROCESO DE CONTABILIZACIÓN DE LOS SUMIDEROS DE CARBONO EN LOS SISTEMAS FOREST ALES ESPAÑOLES (BIOMASA)

It is presented an introduction of definitions and concepts accepted to international level to carry out of the Kyoto Protocol in agreement with the articles in relation with the forestry systems like carbon sinks (art. 3.3. and 3.4 of the Protocol). It is explained the methodology used in the first national communication (year 2000) to calculate the carbon sequestered in the Spanish forestry systems and the first estimations of the future capacity of the forest and similar systems like sinks short-term, the paper of the forest poses like mitigate of the process of the climate change, and the repercussions the modifications of the actual forestry area means. It is going to be done a revision to the Galician dates in relation with the Third National Forestry Inventory
